Anqing 安庆 is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Anhui Province and one of the 27 cities in the central area of the Yangtze River Delta. It is a key city in the Yangtze River Delta region, a regional key city linking the Yangtze River Delta and the central region, and a node city in the demonstration area of Wanjiang City Belt to undertake industrial transfer. Anqing is a national historical and cultural city, a national garden city, a national forest city, and a national demonstration area for ecological civilization construction.
Anqing is located in the southwest of Anhui Province, on the north bank of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, with Hubei in the west, Jiangxi in the south, Dabie Mountain in the northwest, and Mount Huangshan 黄山 in the southeast.
