“Arab Dancing Girl” is a Cantonese album by the Hong Kong rock band Beyond. It is the first album of Beyond in the true sense and was first produced and released in 1987. The first edition of the album contains a total of 10 songs. The original first edition was released by Kinn’s company of Chen Jiantian as a vinyl LP and tape. In 1988, Beyond joined Cinepoly Records. The album was re-released as a CD version and additionally included two previously released songs, “New World” and “Dance of the Past”, for a total of 12 songs.
The title song of the same name, “Arab Dancing Girl”, was used as an interlude in the movie “School Storm”.
