“A Romantic Affair” is a romantic film directed by Gao Qunshu, written by Huo Xin and Gao Qunshu, and starring Yang Ying and Huang Xiaoming. The film was released in mainland China on August 8, 2013.
The film is adapted from Hai Yan’s novel of the same name. It tells the story of a young policewoman, Lv Yueyue, who is involved in a complicated emotional entanglement, family disputes and gang fights while carrying out the task of tracking down national treasures.
In 2013, the film won the Best Film Award at the 1st London International Chinese Film Festival. As of August 20, 2013, the box office of the film in mainland China was 22 million RMB in two weeks.
Synopsis简介：
The summer of 08, the missing years of national treasure — Buddha, reappear in South Korea’s Gang — the Kim family hand.
