“Remembering Qin E: Autumn Desolation” is a work by Huang Ji, a poet of the Southern Song Dynasty. The first part describes the autumn scenery. The first sentence describes the lonely journey, and the call for warmth lingering in the heart of the wanderer when the autumn wind blows and leaves fall. It writes a strong autumn feeling, which renders the atmosphere for the melancholy of the wanderer in the following text. The second part describes the inner activities of the separated person, and uses repeated sentences to extend the brushstrokes to the horizon, writing about love from the perspective of lovers. This article uses direct writing to write about the wanderer’s separation sorrow, implicitly writing about the boudoir’s grievances and the longing between the two places. A kind of emotion, set against the bleak autumn scenery, is even more profound and moving.
