Huzhou 湖州 is a prefecture-level city in Zhejiang Province, one of the 27 cities in the central area of the Yangtze River Delta, the core city of the Greater Bay Area around Hangzhou Bay, and the central city of the G60 science and innovation Corridor G60科创走廊中心城市.
Huzhou is located in the north of Zhejiang, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, and Anhui provinces interchange, east of Jiaxing, south of Hangzhou, west of Tianmu Mountain, north of Taihu Lake, and Wuxi, Suzhou across the lake, is named around Taihu Lake area because of the lake, in the south of Taihu Lake, East Tiaoxi and West Tiaoxi creek confluence.
