“Guofeng·Tangfeng·Laoqiu” is a poem in the Book of Songs, the first collection of ancient Chinese poetry. Modern scholars generally believe that this is a satirical poem. The whole poem has two chapters, each with four sentences. The poem starts with the clothes and attitude of an official who is complacent with himself, satirizing those who wear lamb fur coats and leopard sleeves and abandon their old friends, highlighting the officials’ arrogant attitude and shallow virtues under the hypocritical nobility. This poem has the flavor of folk songs.
《国风·唐风·羔裘》是中国古代第一部诗歌总集《诗经》中的一首诗。现代学者一般认为这是一首讽刺性的诗歌。全诗二章，每章四句。诗从一个为官志得意满人的衣饰和待人的态度写起，讽刺了那些穿着羔羊皮袄豹袖、抛弃故旧的人，突出了官员的傲慢态度和虚伪的高贵下，浅薄的德行。此诗有着民歌民谣的风味。

羔裘豹袪，自我人居居。
岂无他人？维子之故。
羔裘豹褎，自我人究究。

Lamb skin coat with leopard fur cuffs.
His aloofness plagues me.
Of course I can find others—
But I am not ready to forget him.
His condescension wounds me.
