Jinling Wine Shop, This Poem a Parting Gift Souvenir

Jin Ling Si Liu Bie

Bai men liu hua man dian xiang
Wu ji ya jiu huan ke chang.
Jin ling zi di lai xiang song
Yu xing bu xing ming jin shang.
Qing jun wen qu dong liu shui
Bie yi yu zhi shei duan chang?

Jinling Wine Shop, This Poem a Parting Gift Souvenir

At Baimen, willow blossoms fill the shop with their fragrances
Wu waitresses constantly strain and pour the wine, encouraging the customers to taste.
Jinling youth and friends arrive together to send me off
I want to travel, but everyone discourages me with unlimited cups of wine.
Ask you about the eastern flows of the river
Long or short, after departing, when can we expect to meet again?

Notes:

Wu: The nation of Wu existed during the Western Zhou Dynasty (11th century-473 BC). It consisted of the modern day province of Zhejiang and surrounding areas.
