“Caisangzi: Standing in the Courtyard of Xie’s Family at Late Night” is a poem written by Nalan Xingde, a poet in the Qing Dynasty. This poem is full of melancholy and sorrow. The yard of my lassie was still there,
Swallows nested on the carved beam.
The walls mirrored the moon white-cream,
Perfumes from blossoms or my girl?—I was let down.
Such passion goes into what to look back,
