In Flat-top Mountain
Yang Ji
Drizzling rain’s grizzled violet flowers on the trees;
The loquat fruit is ripened by the southern breeze.
Walking slowly, I ignore the mountain path long;
On homeward way I hear but gold orioles’ song.
