Yang Ji Poem:The Yueyang Tower–

The Yueyang Tower[1]

Yang Ji

I drink spring at the height,

Rails mirrored in the lake.

Three States with water white;

Nine peaks blue without break.

Fishes dance with delight;

The queen’s soul comes awake.

Who plays on flute at night?

Wind and rain weep for her sake.

注释:

[1]The Yueyang Tower stands by the side of Dongting Lake where the queen of Emperor Shun was drowned after the emperor’s death in 2205 BC.
