“Houtinghua·Imitation of Ancient Style” is a Sanqu written by Shao Hengzhen, a Sanqu writer in the late Yuan Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty. This Sanqu mainly describes a woman who wakes up in a dream at midnight and misses someone far away. The author makes the woman’s feelings fade from strong to weak. The images of flowers, buildings, bright moon and distant mountains are not vivid, and the longing seems to be there and not there. But after reading it, everyone will be haunted by the young woman’s feelings and find it difficult to let go for a long time.
《后庭花·拟古》为元末明初散曲作家邵亨贞所作的一首散曲。该散曲主要描写一个女子午夜梦回，思念远人的情景。作者将思妇的感情化浓为淡。花、楼、明月、远山，形象色彩都是不鲜明的，思念也似有若无。但读过之后，谁都会被这少妇的情思萦绕，久久难以释怀。
