永王东巡歌
（十一首其二）
三川[1]北虏[2]乱如麻，
四海南奔似永嘉。
但用东山[3]谢安石，
为君谈笑静胡沙。
《永王东巡歌》作于公元757年，李白随永王李璘水师东下浔阳之时，现存11首。洛阳沦陷后一片混乱，士人争相躲避江东。诗人以谢安自居，自谓在国家大难当头时，希望像谢安一样从容镇静地破敌除患，希望永王重用自己。诗人在诗中表现的是爱国志士的热诚，对遭受战火的百姓的同情。虽然，他想做谢安那样的儒将，从容应敌，决胜千里，是不现实的，甚至是幼稚的，却成就了他豪迈的浪漫主义风格。

Three River Valleys overrun by Northern foes,
People within four seas flee to the Southern land.
If Master Xie[1]again from Eastern Mountain rose,
He’d quell with ease the rebels as he’d sprinkle sand.

[1]Xie An fought against heavy odds and won victory in 382.Here the poet alluded to him self.
“Song of Prince Yong’s Eastern Tour” was written in 757 AD, when Li Bai followed Prince Yong Li Lin’s navy to Xunyang. There are 11 poems left. After the fall of Luoyang, there was chaos, and scholars scrambled to escape to Jiangdong. The poet regarded himself as Xie An, saying that when the country was in great trouble, he hoped to be as calm and calm as Xie An to defeat the enemy and eliminate the troubles, and hoped that Prince Yong would use him. The poet expressed the enthusiasm of patriots and sympathy for the people who suffered from the war in the poem. Although it was unrealistic and even naive for him to be a Confucian general like Xie An, calmly responding to the enemy and winning thousands of miles away, it made his heroic romantic style.
