“Autumn on the Fen River” is a work by the Tang Dynasty poet Su Yan. This poem describes the author’s surprise at the arrival of autumn on the Fen River, expressing his feelings of the lateness of the year, and also reflects the profound historical and cultural connotations of the Fen River area. The whole poem uses the expression of virtual and real, close and distant, seemingly bright but obscure, and choking to express the poet’s complex feelings.
