上高侍郎 高蟾[1] 天上碧桃[2]和露种， 日边[3]红杏倚云栽。 芙蓉[4]生在秋江上， 不向东风怨未开[5]。 注释： [1] 高蟾：公元876年进士，官职做到御史中丞。高侍郎即是高骈。诗人把自己比作秋天的芙蓉，怡然自得，不和春风得意的碧桃或红杏争春。这是典型的古代知识分子对待得失的态度，也代表了中国传统文化安分守己，不求闻达的人生观。 [2] 碧桃：桃花的变种，重瓣，颜色多样，用于观赏。 [3] 日边：太阳旁边，比喻朝廷。 [4] 芙蓉：荷花。 [5] 不向东风怨未开：不埋怨春风不让自己在春天开放。 For Vice-minister Gao Gao Chan The green peach tree is nourished with heavenly dew; The apricot is dyed in clouds of sunny hue.
