Gao Shi Poem: On Reading History –
On Reading History Gao Shi The envoy gave a silken gown To one on whom he looked down, Mistaking the prime minister For a poor plain-clothed commoner. Gao Shi, a poet of the Tang Dynasty, has written a poem entitled "On Reading History".
