Guan Yunshi

The first half of the poem describes the scenery, and the second half describes the people, but the whole poem is about "reed quilt".

Guan Yunshi (1286-1324) was a Yuan Dynasty composer of Sanqu songs. His courtesy name was Fucen, and his pseudonyms were Chengzhai, Shuxian, and Suanzhai. He was born into a noble family of the Gaochang Uighur Weiwu people. His grandfather Ali Haiya was a general in the founding of the Yuan Dynasty. His original name was Xiao Yunshi Haiya.
