Lao Zi

Laozi, surnamed Li, ming er, was born in the late Spring and Autumn Period, the year of birth and death is unknown, and his birthplace is also controversial. Records of Laozi were born in Chen Guo. Ancient Chinese thinkers, philosophers, writers and historians, founders and main representatives of the Taoist school, and Zhuangzi are called "Lao Zhuang". He was later respected as the ancestor by Taoism, and he was called "Taishang Laojun". In the Tang Dynasty, he was regarded as the ancestor of the Li surname.
