作品原文 孙中山 《国父遗嘱》 余致力国民革命，凡四十年。其目的在求中国之自由平等。积四十年之经验，深知欲达到此目的，必须唤起民众，及联合世界上以平等待我之民族，共同奋斗。 现在革命尚未成功，凡我同志，务须依照余所著：建国方略、建国大纲、三民主义、及第一次全国代表大会宣言，继续努力，以求贯彻。最近主张开国民会议，及废除不平等条约，尤须于最短期内，促其实现，是所至嘱。 英文译文 Dr. Sun Yat-Sen’s Will Sun Wen For forty years I have devoted myself to the cause of people’s revolution with but one end in view, the elevation of China to a position of freedom and equality among the nations. My experiences during these forty years have firmly convinced me that to attain this goal we must bring about a thorough awakening of our own people and ally ourselves in a common struggle with those peoples of the world who treat us on the basis of equality. The work of the Revolution is not yet done. Let all our comrades follow my Plans for National Reconstruction, Fundamentals of National Reconstruction, Three Principles of the People, and the Manifesto of the First National Convention of our Party, and strive on for their consummation. Above all, our recent declarations in favor of the convocation of a National Convention and abolition of unequal treaties should be carried into effect with the least possible delay. This is my heartfelt charge to you.

作品原文 孙中山 《三民主义就是救国主义》 诸君：今天来同大家讲三民主义。什么是三民主义呢？用最简单的定义说，三民主义就是救国主义。什么是主义呢？主义就是一种思想，一种信仰，和一种力量。大凡人类对于一件事，研究当中的道理，最先发生思想；思想贯通了以后，便起信仰；有了信仰，就生出力量。所以主义是先由思想再到信仰，次由信仰生出力量，然后完全成立。何以说三民主义就是救国主义呢？因为三民主义是促进中国之国际地位平等、政治地位平等、经济地位平等，使中国永久适存于世界，所以说三民主义就是救国主义。三民主义既是救国主义，试问我们今日的中国是不是应该要救呢？如果是认定应该要救的，那么便应该信仰三民主义。信仰三民主义便能发生出极大势力；这种极大势力，便可以救中国。 英文译文 The Three Principles of The People Are The Principles For Our National Salvation Sun Wen Gentlemen: I have come here today to speak to you about the Three Principles of The People. What are the Three Principles of The People? They are, by the simplest definition, the principles for our nation’s salvation. What is a principle? It is an idea, a faith, and a power. When men begin to study into the heart of a problem, an idea generally develops first; as the idea becomes clearer, a faith arises; and out of the faith a power is born. So a principle must begin with an idea, the idea must produce a faith, and the faith in turn must give birth to power, before the principle can be perfectly established. Why do we say that the Three Principles of The People will save our nation? Because they will elevate China to an equal position among the nations, in international affairs, in government, and in economic life, so that she can permanently exist in the world.
