“Sending Someone to Travel East” is a poem by Tang Dynasty writer Wen Tingyun. This poem is about farewell. The sentence “Haoran leaves the old pass” establishes the tone of the poem. Because the parting spirit is high, the scenery such as the yellow leaves drifting and the lonely boat at the end of the world appear sad but not depressed, and thus generous and moving. The last sentence of the poem reveals the feeling of reluctant farewell. Although it is a farewell in autumn, there is no sadness of autumn. The whole poem has a majestic and magnificent artistic conception, generous and sad. There is autumn scenery without the feeling of autumn sadness, and the parting is not sad. There is no graceful and delicate style of the author’s “Huajian Ci School”.
《送人东游》是唐代文学家温庭筠的诗作。此诗写送别，“浩然离故关”一句确立了诗的基调，由于离人意气昂扬，就使得黄叶飘零、天涯孤棹等景色显得悲凉而不低沉，因而慷慨动人。诗的最后一句透露出依依惜别的情怀，虽是在秋季送别，却无悲秋的凄楚。全诗意境雄浑壮阔，慷慨悲凉，有秋景而无伤秋之情，与人别而不纵悲情，毫无作者“花间词派”婉约纤丽的文风。
