《风》是一首五言绝句，作者薛涛。薛涛是唐代四大女诗人之一，蜀中四大才女之一。薛涛（约768——832年），字洪度，京兆长安（今陕西西安）人。唐代女诗人，成都乐妓 。16岁入乐籍，与韦皋、元稹有过恋情，恋爱期间，薛涛自己制作桃红色小笺用来写诗，后人仿制，称“薛涛笺”。脱乐籍后，终身未嫁。成都望江楼公园有“薛涛墓” 。后人将薛涛与鱼玄机、李冶、刘采春并称唐代四大女诗人，与卓文君、花蕊夫人、黄娥并称蜀中四大才女，流传下的诗作有90余首，收于《锦江集》。
The Wind “is a five character quatrain written by Xue Tao. Xue Tao was one of the four great female poets of the Tang Dynasty and one of the four talented women in Shu. Xue Tao (approximately 768-832 AD), also known as Hongdu, was born in Chang’an, Jingzhao (now Xi’an, Shaanxi). Tang Dynasty female poet and Chengdu courtesan. At the age of 16, he entered the music industry and had romantic relationships with Wei Gao and Yuan Zhen. During their relationship, Xue Tao made his own peach colored small notes to write poetry, which later generations imitated and called “Xue Tao Notes”. After retiring from music, he remained unmarried for life. Chengdu Wangjianglou Park has the “Xue Tao Tomb”. Later generations referred to Xue Tao as one of the four great female poets of the Tang Dynasty, along with Yu Xuanji, Li Ye, and Liu Caichun. She was also known as one of the four talented women of Shu, along with Zhuo Wenjun, Lady Huarui, and Huang E. Over 90 of her poems have been passed down and collected in the Jinjiang Collection.

林梢明淅沥，松径夜凄清。

The breeze upon the fragrant grass
has now passed far away,
the harpstrings of a whirlwind
raise a plaintive cry.
The rustle of the falling leaves
can be heard in the forest, near;
along the pine-lined pathway,
the night is chillingly clear.
