“Jiang Xing” is a seven-character quatrain written by the late Tang poet Yu Xuanji. This poem has four lines, the first two lines describe the scenery, and the last two lines express emotions. It expresses the author’s recognition of the Taoist Zhuangzi’s idea that breaking the boundaries between life and death, and between things and self, will bring happiness wherever you go.
《江行》是晚唐诗人鱼玄机创作的一首七言绝句。此诗共四句,前两句写景,后两句抒情。表达了作者对道家庄子打破生死、物我的界限,则无往而不快乐思想的认同。

The Great River wraps an arm
angling around Wu-ch’ang
Parrot Island faces the gates
of ten thousand homes.
Spring sleep in a pleasure boat
unfulfilled at dawn—
In dreams a butterfly
still seeking blossoms.
