“Boating” is a work by Zhu Xi, a scholar in the Song Dynasty. This poem uses the huge ship that can sail freely in the water without anyone pushing it to illustrate the need for inspiration in artistic creation. The whole poem contains philosophical principles in vivid metaphors, which are not obstructed by reason and are full of interest. It has been widely circulated.
