鸟儿出山去的时候，
我以一片花瓣放在它嘴里，
告诉那住在谷口的女郎，
说山里的花已开了。

A Short Poem Written in the Hills

As the bird prepared to leave the hills
I placed a petal in its beak.
A message for the maiden beyond the valley:
The mountain-flowers are in bloom.
