春风先发苑中梅，樱杏桃梨次第开。
荠花榆荚深村里，亦道春风为我来。

Spring winds blow;
plum blossoms bloom in the palace
garden; cherry, apricot,
peach and pear follow one after
the other;
in peasant villages,
water chestnuts and elm trees
join in as if to say,
“The spring wind
Has made us all this way.”
