好读《高僧传》,
时看辟谷方。
鸠形将刻杖,
龟壳用支床。
柳色春山映,
梨花夕鸟藏。
北窗桃李下,
闲坐但焚香。

Spring at a Venerable Monk’s

The Eminent Monks is his favorite must,
From time to time he foodless goes.
A turtledove sits on top of his staff,
Beneath his bedstead tortoises repose.
The hills set off the willows’ green,
‘Mid pear-flowers birds at dusk find ease.
But he sits by the window with a mind serene,
The incense smoke curling up to the trees.
