那么这个费诗他在刘备集团是个敢说话的人，在刘备集团里面对待关羽算是敢摸老虎屁股了，他敢当面顶回去。但请大家注意，也是顺着毛在摸，摸得关羽很舒服。所以关羽这个人在刘备集团，是一个被惯坏了的孩子。惯坏了的孩子有什么特点呢？两个特点，第一个特点叫任性，第二个特点叫天真。由于被惯坏了所以任性，由于是孩子所以天真。由于任性，所以他发动了襄樊战争；由于天真，所以他上了孙权、吕蒙、陆逊的当，被他们忽悠了。而又由于他既任性又天真，所以他处理不好很多关系，比方说敌我友的关系，关羽是处理不好的。
据《三国志·关羽传》记载，此前孙权曾经向关羽求婚，想让关羽的女儿嫁给自己的儿子。关羽怎么样呢？“骂辱其使，不许婚。”《三国志》只有这么简单的几个字，说什么我虎女焉嫁犬子那是演义，但是“骂辱”两个字《三国志》的正文是有的。那么这个做得就不对了，谁都知道这种婚姻是政治婚姻，是出于政治集团的利益的联姻。孙权可以把妹妹嫁给刘备，你关羽怎么就不能把女儿嫁给孙权的儿子呢？孙权嫁了妹妹以后又把妹妹抢回去了，以后你翻脸了你也可以把女儿抢回来嘛。就算你不同意，你也可以不同意，你可以瞧不起孙权，你也可以痛恨孙权，你也可以不答应这门婚事，你不要骂人，开口就骂。而且对待部下也是这样的，我上一集讲到吕蒙的军队一到南郡，守公安、守江凌的两个人就投降了，为什么投降呢？就是关羽老骂他们嘛。而且关羽去打襄樊的时候，要这两个人供给粮草，这两个人可能办事也不太有力，何况关羽平时一贯瞧不起他们，而且关羽这样性格的人一旦瞧不起别人，那种蔑视是肯定明摆着写在脸上的，他不会遮掩的，谁都感觉得到的。结果这两个人供给不力，关羽就骂人了，说我回来收拾你们，等我拿下襄樊以后看我怎么收拾你们。这两个人一想，你关羽拿不拿得下襄樊还不一定，拿下了也是收拾我们，那我还不如投降算了。
