就是出去以后坐一辆车子，进来以后坐一个席位，待遇高吧！后来他去投奔袁绍，袁绍给他的待遇是什么呢？出城二百里相迎。那么为什么呢？答案只有一个，就是这些人都认为刘备是英雄，除了袁术。
＊根据《三国志》的记载我们可以看出，在东汉末年的乱世中刘备开始并没有自己的地盘，整日东奔西走，到处寄人篱下，看别人的脸色行事，他在很多方面的表现看上去都不太像是一个英雄。到了小说《三国演义》中更是把刘备描写得窝窝囊囊，除了一会哭、二会跑，别的本事是一样没有。那么历史上真实的刘备是英雄吗？
是。有什么证据？四个证据。

In the novel “The Romance of the Three Kingdoms”, Liu Bei is portrayed as a helpless person who has no other abilities except to cry for a moment and run for a second. So is the real Liu Bei a hero in history?
Yes. What evidence is there? Four pieces of evidence.
第一，刘备有英雄之志。刘备投奔刘表以后有一次和刘表纵论天下英雄，有个叫许汜的人就发表一个议论，就说到一个叫陈登的人，陈登的字叫元龙，许汜说陈元龙这个人没有礼貌，他说我到下邳去见陈元龙，陈元龙半天不跟我说话，最后自顾自地跑到一个大床上去睡，让我睡小床。刘备就发表意见了，说许先生你知道为什么吗？因为你素有国士之名，大家都把你看做国士，在这样一个动乱的年代正是需要你这样的国士出来为国家分忧，来平定天下的，可是你整天干什么呢？“求田问舍”，整天买地买房子，这样的人元龙先生是看不起的，他怎么会跟你说话？实话说，你也是运气好碰上了元龙先生，你要是碰到我刘备这样的小人，我恨不得自己睡在楼上，让你睡地下！还说什么大床小床！

Liu Bei gave his opinion and said, Mr. Xu, do you know why? “Because you are known as a national scholar, everyone regards you as a national scholar. In such a turbulent era, it is necessary for a national scholar like you to come out to share the worries of the country and calm the world, but what do you do all day?”? “Asking for farmland and asking for shelter”, who buys land and houses all day, is something Mr. Yuan Long looks down upon. How could he talk to you? To tell the truth, you were lucky enough to meet Mr. Yuanlong. If you encounter such a villain as Liu Bei, I wish I could sleep upstairs and let you sleep underground! What else are you talking about? Big bed, small bed!
有英雄之志。而且这个例子还说明什么？说明刘备有英雄之气。刘备并不是我们想象的窝窝囊囊、只会跑只会哭的窝囊废，他也是性情中人。
第三点，刘备有英雄之魂。我们知道刘备的前半生是很糟糕的，史书上的说法是八个字：
五易其主，四失妻子。
Have a heroic ambition. And what else does this example illustrate? It shows that Liu Bei has a heroic spirit. Liu Bei is not the kind of loser we imagine, who can only run and cry. He is also a person of temperament.
Third, Liu Bei has the soul of a hero. We know that the first half of Liu Bei’s life was very bad, and the statement in the history book is eight words:

最后一点，刘备有英雄之义。对于刘备这个人，史书上有两种截然相反的评价，一个评价是吕布的部将的评价，因为刘备短时间地投靠过吕布，吕部的部将当时就跟吕布说，刘备这个人反覆难养
