那么朝廷呢？如果说家庭是骨肉相残，朝廷就是特务统治。孙权晚年设了一个官，叫做校事官，这个校事官有好多名称，干什么呢？就是刺探臣民们都干了些什么，说了些什么，谁跟谁来往，然后汇报到孙权那儿，说白了就是特务嘛。这个特务非常的嚣张，孙权又听他们的，不相信他的文武大臣，甚至搞逼供信。比方说，这个校事官其中最猖狂的一个人叫吕壹，这个吕壹就跟孙权说，有一个叫刁嘉的人诽谤朝廷，孙权马上就相信了，就抓起来关进去，然后拷问，然后还要问跟这个刁嘉有来往的这些人，你们都听见他诽谤朝廷了吗？所有的人都因为害怕这个特务，都说他听见了听见了，他确实是诽谤朝廷，一个个查查查，最后查到是仪这个人，这个人的名字有点怪，他姓是不是的“是”，礼仪的“仪”，查到是仪，是仪说我没听到，孙权说怎么可能呢，所有的交往的人都听说他诽谤朝廷，怎么你没听到呢？！再问，再问是仪说我还是没听到，再问，再问我还是没听到。最后逼问，是仪说：哎呀，刀都架在我脖子上了，我干吗要护着那个人啊，拿自己脑袋开玩笑，我没听到就是没听到嘛，实事求是嘛！这才知道是冤案。那如果不是是仪顶住了，那不一个冤案就造起来了吗？
实际上孙权这个人，到了晚年叫做神经过敏、疑神疑鬼、喜怒无常，所以严冷先生的《三国史话》随笔就说，孙权是不是得了老年痴呆症，严先生这个话当然是个玩笑话。所以陈寿说孙权这个人有勾践之奇，这是一语双关啊，就是他前期创业的时候，那个忍辱负重，那个先装孙子后当霸王，先识时务后成俊杰，跟勾践一样，到了晚年杀功臣，怀疑自己的人也跟勾践一样。而且陈寿还对孙权有这样一个评价：性多嫌忌，果于杀戮，暨臻末年，弥以滋甚。什么意思？就是孙权这个人本来就是个疑心很重的人，本来就是个敢杀人的人，到了晚年他就更严重了，越到晚年越他疑心，有人就会问前面那么多情，那么以情感人，怎么到了晚年成这个样子呢？这也不奇怪，多情必多疑啊，你说重情的人，他是不是疑心就比较重，他老怀疑他自己爱的人会不会背叛自己，所以情天往往同时也是恨海，所以孙权的变化很正常，虽然变得很厉害，而且正是由于孙权晚年的这种变化，他冷落张昭，他逼死陆逊，那么冷落张昭和逼死陆逊又是怎么回事呢？请看下集——《冷暖人生》。

The more he becomes suspicious in his later years, some people will ask about so many emotions in front of him. So moving people with emotions, how can he become such a person in his later years? It’s not surprising that people who are sentimental must be suspicious. Do you mean that people who are sentimental are more suspicious? They always doubt whether the people they love will betray themselves, so love often also hates the sea.
