出 谷 未 停 午
至 家 日 已 曛。
回 瞻 下 山 路
但 见 牛 羊 群。
樵 子 暗 相 失
草 虫 寒 不 闻。
衡 门 犹 未 掩
伫 立 望 夫 君。

Zhi jia ri yi xun.
Hui zhan xia shan lu
Dan jian niu yang qun.

Before noon leave to go back to my valley home
Reaching home when the sun’s light almost gone.
Looking forward to the mountain foothill roads
Only see flocks of sheep and several oxen.
Hidden woodcutters heard, but not seen
So cold cannot hear any crickets.
Doors closed, but not yet latched
Standing still for a long time gazing into the distance, you have yet to return.
