惠 崇 春 江 晚 景 二 首

竹 外 桃 花 三 两 枝
春 江 水 暖 鸭 先 知。
蒌 蒿 满 地 芦 芽 短
正 是 河 豚 欲 上 时。

(1) “Ducks Playing”
Outside bamboo forest and peach blossoms, both have several branches
Springtime river water first felt to be warm by the ducks.
Along the beach, wormwood and reeds with short sprouts
The right season to desire the incoming puffer fish.

两 两 归 鸿 欲 破 群
依 依 还 依 北 归 人。
遥 知 朔 漠 多 风 雪
更 待 江 南 半 月 春。

Liang liang gui hong yu po qun
Yi yi huan yi bei gui ren.
Yao zhi shuo mo duo feng xue
Geng dai jiang nan ban yue chun.
(2) “Flying Geese”
Formation after formation of geese returning to the north
Reluctant to go back, just like some people.
They know that the distant and northern deserts still have wind and snow
Maybe they should wait in Jiangnan for another half a month of spring.
