其实这个也不能说很奇怪，而且诸葛亮登门自荐的这个说法，虽然是非主流意见，也还是有一批历史学家支持这种说法。比方说有一位刘啸先生就曾经写过一篇文章叫做《“三顾茅庐”质疑》，他就认为“三顾”的说法靠不住，为什么呢？他认为，就刘备和诸葛亮双方而言，刘备固然需要诸葛亮，而诸葛亮更需要刘备。
因此他提出这样三点意见，第一点，就是诸葛亮这个人是一定要出山的，因为这个《三国志》里面说得很清楚：“自比管仲、乐毅”，管仲、乐毅他就是要出将入相、建功立业，要做事情的，而刘备对于他来说是最好的人选，就是作为一个老板的人选，这个道理我们在前面也已经说过了。诸葛亮不投靠曹操，不投靠孙权，甚至不就近就便为刘表服务，他就是要为自己选一个最好的老板，而刘备无疑是最好的人选，他岂肯在隆中坐等刘备“三顾”呢？那刘备不顾呢，不来找他怎么办？所以刘啸说，这等于说诸葛亮在那儿下了一个决心，你刘备不出来请我三次，我就在这个地方做一辈子农民了，这可能吗？你说他这样一个自比管仲、乐毅的人，他待在隆中干什么呢？建设社会主义新农村？
In fact, this cannot be said to be very strange, and although the statement that Zhuge Liang introduced himself at the door is not a mainstream opinion, there are still a group of historians supporting this statement. For example, a Mr. Liu Xiao once wrote an article called “The Questioning of Sangu Maolu”, and he thought that the statement of “Sangu” was unreliable. Why? He believed that for both Liu Bei and Zhuge Liang, Liu Bei certainly needed Zhuge Liang, and Zhuge Liang needed Liu Bei even more.
Therefore, he put forward three suggestions. The first point is that Zhuge Liang is a person who must rise to the top, because it is clearly stated in the “Three Kingdoms Annals”: “Compared to Guan Zhong and Leyi, Guan Zhong and Leyi are people who want to rise to the top, make contributions, and do things. Liu Bei is the best candidate for him, that is, as a boss, which we have already mentioned earlier.”. Zhuge Liang does not rely on Cao Cao, Sun Quan, or even nearby to serve Liu Biao. He just wants to choose the best boss for himself, and Liu Bei is undoubtedly the best candidate. Would he be willing to sit in Longzhong and wait for Liu Bei’s “three visits”? What if Liu Bei doesn’t care and doesn’t come to find him? So Liu Xiao said, “This is equivalent to saying that Zhuge Liang made a decision there. If you don’t come out and invite me three times, I will be a farmer in this place all my life. Is it possible?”? You said that he is such a person who compares himself to Guan Zhong and Leyi, why does he stay in Longzhong? Building a new socialist countryside?
第二点，刘备是需要人才，但他需要的是一群人，不是一个人；诸葛亮需要老板，他需要的不是一批老板，是一个老板。那么请大家想一想，是需要一群人的迫切呢，还是需要一个人的迫切呢？这是第二点。
Secondly, Liu Bei needs talents, but he needs a group of people, not a single person; Zhuge Liang needs a boss, not a group of bosses, but a boss. So please think about it, is it the urgency of needing a group of people, or the urgency of needing a person? This is the second point.
第三点，刘啸先生说，以诸葛亮的智慧和当时他的社会地位，他发现刘备应该比刘备发现他要早。刘备因为很有名了，天下枭雄了，真是天下谁人不识君，谁不知道有一个刘备呢？刘备未必知道有一个诸葛亮。那么在这样的情况下，应该是诸葛亮去找刘备，何况当时形势已经非常紧急，已经到了燃眉之急的这样一个程度，他怎么可能坐在隆中还去等这个不一定有把握的三顾茅庐呢？所以刘啸先生得出一个结论来，三顾茅庐在逻辑上无法让人接受这个结论。应该说他这个分析还是有他的道理，那么这样一来就意味着我们要否定《三国志》、否定《出师表》，而这个是不可以否定的，就是《三国志》你可以否定，《出师表》否定不了，现在没有任何证据说《出师表》是伪作，《出师表》怎么说呢？
“臣本布衣，躬耕于南阳，苟全性命于乱世，不求闻达于诸侯。先帝不以臣卑鄙，猥自枉屈，三顾臣于草庐之中，咨臣以当世之事，由是感激，遂许先帝以驱驰。”
Thirdly, Mr. Liu Xiao said that with Zhuge Liang’s wisdom and his social status at the time, he discovered Liu Bei earlier than Liu Bei did. Liu Bei is famous for being a hero in the world. Everyone in the world doesn’t know a king, and who doesn’t know that there is a Liu Bei? Liu Bei may not know that there is a Zhuge Liang. Under such circumstances, it should be Zhuge Liang who went to find Liu Bei. Moreover, the situation was already very urgent at that time and had reached such a critical point. How could he possibly sit in Longzhong and wait for this uncertain Sangumao Lu? Therefore, Mr. Liu Xiao came to a conclusion that “San Gu Mao Lu” is logically unacceptable. It should be said that his analysis still has its reasons, so this means that we need to deny the “Three Kingdoms Annals” and “Chushi Biao”, and this cannot be denied. You can deny the “Three Kingdoms Annals”, but “Chushi Biao” cannot deny it. Currently, there is no evidence that “Chushi Biao” is a fake. What does “Chushi Biao” say?
“I was originally dressed in cloth, and worked hard in Nanyang. I devoted my life to the troubled times, and I did not seek to be heard or reached by the vassals. The former emperor did not treat me as despicable or indecent, but bent in vain. He looked at me in the thatched cottage, and consulted me for the affairs of the world. I was grateful, so I allowed the former emperor to drive me away.”
