A Wounded Heart Heart Visiting Our Former Quarters Inside the Tongde Jing Temple

Tong De Jing She Jiu Ju Shang Huai

Luo jing shi zai bie
Dong lin fang jiu fei.
Shan he bu ke wang
Cun mei yi duo wei.

Shi qian ji shang zai
Tong qu du lai gui.
Hai jian chuang zhong ge
Ri mu rao ting fei.

A Wounded Heart Visiting Our Former Quarters Inside the Tongde Jing Temple

Ten years ago we left Luoyang
Often visited the old doors of the Donglin Temple.
Same mountains and rivers are in the distance
Survive now without the many traces of her.

During these days our arrangements of household items remain the same
We departed together, now only one of us has returned.
Still see pigeons through the windows
Late sunset they fly around and around the front courtyard.
