Three challengers - Bruce's character (Jeet Kune Do), Chieh Yuan (traditional Kung Fu) and James Tien - fight their way to the top of the pagoda and ultimate victory. The footage he shot only covers the upper 3 levels, guarded by Dan Inosanoto (Escrima), Chi Hon Tsoi (Hapkido) and Kareem Abdul Jabbar respectively. There is a sign at Dan Inosanto's floor which reads "Fu Deen" (Tiger Palace) and one at Chi Hon Tsoi's which reads "Lung Deen" (Dragon Palace). Bruce…- 0

Enter the Dragon – 龙争虎斗(1973) – Chinese Movies
English name:Enter The Dragon Broadcast time:July 26, 1973 Starring:李小龙(Bruce Lee)、John Saxon、Jim Kelly、茅瑛(Angela Mao Ying)、Ahna Capri、石坚(Shih Kien) director:Robert Clouse Introduction Today, we are going to talk about a film which is theatrical released in August 19, 1973.It is the last film completed by Bruce Lee (李小龙Lǐ Xiǎolóng) before his untimely death(英年早逝yīngniánzǎoshì), Enter the Dragon (龙争虎斗lóngzhēng-hǔdòu) was his entrée into Hollywood. The American-Hong Kong coproduction, shot in Asia by American director Robert Clouse, stars Lee as a British agent sent to infiltrate the criminal empire of bloodthirsty Asian crime lord Han (Shih Kien) through his annual international martial arts tournament. Lee spends his days taking on tournament combatants and nights breaking into the heavily guarded underground fortress, kicking the living tar out of anyone who stands in his way. The mix of kung fu fighting (choreographed by Lee himself) and James Bond intrigue (the plot has more than a passing resemblance to Dr. No) is pulpy by any standard, but the generous budget and talented cast of world-class martial artists puts this film in a category well above Lee's primitive Hong Kong productions. Unfortunately he's off the screen for large chunks of time as American maverick competitors (and champion martial artists) John Saxon and Jim Kelly take center stage, but once…- 0

A-1 Headline – Chinese Movies Reviews (A-1 頭條)
AKA:A-1 Chinese:A-1 頭條 Year:2004 Director:Gordon Chan Car-Seung, Chung Kai-Cheong Producer:Gordon Chan Car-Seung, Fruit Chan Gor, Jimmy Law Kwok-Keung, Stephen Lam Writer:Gordon Chan Car-Seung, Chung Kai-Cheong Action:Dante Lam Chiu-Yin, Bruce Law Lai-Yin Cast:Anthony Wong Chau-Sang, Angelica Lee Sum-Kit, Edison Chen, Eric Kot Man-Fai, Tony Leung Ka-Fai, Gordon Lam Ka-Tung, Lo Wai-Luk, Joel Chan, Sophie Wong Siu-Yin, Miao Chung-Jun, Dante Lam Chiu-Yin, Cara Chan The Skinny:An interesting narrative makes this a passable diversion, but the lack of actual drama makes it only remotely compelling. Despite decent performances and some rare intelligence, A-1 Headline is ultimately too cerebral to recommend, and too distant to get involved in. Reviewby Kozo:Hong Kong Cinema gets socially conscious with the drama A-1 Headline. Directors Chung Kai-Cheong and Gordon Chan collaborate on this dramatic thriller that asks if truth and justice can come at too high a price. To dissect this theme, we get an involved, intelligent screenplay and a variety of solid Hong Kong actors, including the venerable Anthony Wong, the dependable Tony Leung Ka-Fai, and the capable Eric Kot. Teenage girls get Edison Chen, who barely registers onscreen in a mopey, lovestruck, slacker sort of way. Those who like babeage get the promising Angelica Lee, who's attractive and has actually won an acting award. Unfortunately, the filmmakers forgot to include one major factor: drama. Without that, A-1…- 0

Peking Opera Blues – 刀马旦 – Chinese Movies
English name:Peking Opera Blues Broadcast time:September 6, 1986 Starring:钟楚红(Cherie Chung)、叶倩文(Sally Yeh)、林青霞(Brigitte Lin)、谷峰、郑浩南(Mark Cheng) director:徐克(Hark Tsui) Introduction Today let's take a brief introduction of a famous Chinese movie named "Peking Opera Blues".“Daomadan” is one of the “Dan” roles in Peking opera, and “dan” refers to the female characters of different ages and identities. Daomadan plays the female warrior role that is highly skilled in military drill, usually riding a horse with a sword held in hand. They are mostly marshals or generals; hence often present an imposing manner, such as Mu Guiying, Fan Lihua, etc. In terms of stage performance, Daomadan attaches equal importance to chang (singing), nian (dialogue), and zuo (acting). She is also required to have combat skill, but the combat scene is far less fierce than that of “Wudan”, and stress is laid on figure posture, highlighting the mighty and dignified temperament of the role. Compared with other terminological names of Peking opera roles, Daomadan has got widespread fame for the namesake movie directed by Hark Tsui in 1986 (the film is entitled ‘刀马旦’ in Chinese, which writes ‘Daomadan’ in pinyin, but the English title is ‘Peking Opera Blues’). Peking Opera Blues (or Daomadan in Chinese) was one of the…- 0

Wire work was also added to one of the last fight sequences between Li and Cyril Raffaelli, only to add clarity to Raffaelli's kicks, as he was moving too fast for the camera.
