那么第三个，祢衡死得冤，成不成立？我的结论是也冤，也不冤。为什么说他冤呢？他罪不当死，他是骂了很多人，但是不能说骂人就该死嘛。为什么说他也不冤呢？因为他多多少少有一些咎由自取。我们看他是怎么回事，他被曹操打发到刘表那儿，他对刘表是歌功颂德，不吝溢美之词。但是同时他又讽刺刘表的左右，对刘表手下那些人他全部都是讽刺的。所以，刘表的左右手下人就到刘表那儿去打小报告，说将军有没有注意祢衡是怎么歌颂你的？他歌颂你很仁慈，什么意思？说你是妇人之仁，说你其实是没有能力，其实是窝囊废。这话祢衡没说过，但是刘表一听，像，相信了。相信了以后，打发到黄祖那儿。那么曹操把祢衡打发到刘表那儿，他是知道刘表的为人是比较宽厚的，确实也是比较仁慈的，因此曹操的意思就是你到刘表那儿如果能够痛改前非、重新做人，你还可以得一个善终。所以曹操送祢衡到刘表那儿，有以观后效的这样的一个意思；而刘表很清楚黄祖是个什么人，黄祖是什么人呢？军阀大老粗，脾气暴躁，这是是史书上有记载的，他还要把祢衡往黄祖那送，那才是借刀杀人呢。
