但是这个民间信仰呢有时候想起来也是有点怪怪的，我们知道这个民间信仰受两本书的影响最大，一本是《水浒传》，一本是《三国演义》。虽然在文化人那里《红楼梦》的地位最高，认为《红楼梦》是中国古典小说的NO.1，但是民间喜欢的还是《水浒》和《三国》。比如说民间行业会用《水浒》和《三国》的人物做祖师爷，比如说强盗以宋江为祖师爷，小偷以石迁为祖师爷，编制业以刘备为祖师爷，屠宰业以张飞为祖师爷，没有以《红楼梦》人物什么贾宝玉啊，王凤姐做祖师爷的。那么这些都还有些道理，奇怪的是剃头匠以关羽为祖师爷，关羽没有剃过头啊，而且东汉的时候这个我们中国人是不兴剃头的，是留全发的。那么想来想去一点联系，无非是剃头匠和关帝爷手上都有一把刀嘛，但是关羽的刀是杀头的，不是剃头的。我就想起来清代有一个剃头匠在门口贴出一幅对联来，倒是蛮像关羽的口气，怎么说呢：“问天下头颅几许，看老夫手段如何”！我不知道有人敢去剃头不？

不过曹操这个人虽然抢了别人的老婆，他也被别人抢了功劳，抢了什么功劳呢？在《三国演义》里面被诸葛亮抢走了空城计的“发明权”，实际上空城计的故事是有的，但不是发生在诸葛亮的身上，而是发生在曹操的身上。是曹操和吕布作战的时候，有一次曹操的军队出城收麦子去了，突然吕布的军队开了过来。曹操情急之下，把他的随军家属全部都弄到城墙上去站岗，等吕布开过来一看，满城都是莺歌燕舞，姣声嗲气。再一看呢，城外面有一个树林子，深不可测，吕布想曹操这个贼，狡猾狡猾的，肯定是把埋伏买在树林子里面了，撤！撤回去以后想想呢，又不甘心，第二天他又来了，这回曹操真的把伏兵埋伏到树林子了。
